Landing at South Jersey Regional Airport in Mount Holly, New Jersey

Sailboats, old stone houses and wooden airplanes.  Three things which all sensible people know will break your heart and leave you broke.  But for folks willing to disregard the received wisdom there are pleasures to be had which simply cannot be reckoned in dollars and cents.  I like to fly, alot.  I would happily fly any sort of airplane, wood or not, and have demonstrated this willingness by flying every sort of  junk that can be rented, borrowed, or made in my garage.  When I needed an airplane for cross country traveling I bought a Bellanca Viking; I figured, "Hey, why not?"  I already had the house and the boat.  This web page is a journal of my relationship with my airplane.
